YOOGANE Korean Restaurant

Nowadays Korean influence was scattered all over the Philippines. Through fashion, languages, movies, especially foods.

Somewhere in Tomas Morato at Ill Terrazo Building Corner Scout Madrinan you'll find a korean restaurant named YOOGANE. A korean restaurant originated in Korea which is famous by their Dak Galbi.

Dak galbi is a famous korean dish. Usually it is made of diced chicken stir-fry together with a rice, onion, sweet potato, sliced cabbage, based sauce, scallions etc. But in this case we added mozzarella cheese to make it more tastier for additional 80php.
Yoogane's serving was different, If you order one of their Chef specialties or Main dishes they'll serve and cook it in front of you. From the table they have the pan in the middle which supported by a stove below the table. This is quite impressive.

Stir-Frying of Dak Galbi

Me and my friend was so curious, so we tried to stir it too.. But I think we messed it up. haha.. After putting all the ingridients and stri-frying it for about 10 mins. Tadahhh! ready to eat!

It was very mouthwatering. Aside from Yoogane's Dak Galbi we also tried their Beef Bulgogi which is also one of the best seller.

It tastes really good. I suggest you should try this.

By the way, their appetizers was all free. And it's unlimited. We refilled our kimchi thrice. For appetizer they served toge, sweetened dilis, sweet potato, salted labanos on a vinegar, and a diced cabbage with thousand island.

My friend is a fan of K-pop. Since she's curious how Soju tastes like.. We orderd 1 bottle too.

Soju is a distilled beverage native to korea. It is the 3rd best seller liquor in the world. Imagine how famous it is? (Thanks to Wikipedia)
So how's the taste? Well.. It tastes more like vodka.. I can't imagine how my face looks like on my first shot. Since I don't really drink alcohol talaga.. But eventually it became sweeter due to sugars. Well, I won't suggest this to you. hahaha.

Since we got no time, We already asked for the bill. And I got surprised when they gave us Yakult.
Complimentary Yakult
My all time favorite yakult! I find it cool.

All in all, I enjoyed our experiance at Yoogane. And I will surely come back one of this days. Ill bring my sisters here since they're also a fan of K-pop. Well, The staffs are very accomodating the even took a picture of us.

Faces of satisfied tummy. The ambiance was awesome. I love the graffiti art work on the wall since I love art, I find their place really comfortable and not boring.
